A Tribute to Dr. Maurice Berger
1956-2020
Dr. Maurice Berger, a visionary curator, scholar, and advocate for social justice, served as chief curator and research professor at CADVC until his death from COVID-19 in March 2020. The legacy of his path-breaking exhibitions and writings, confronting issues of race, representation, and inequity, remains vital and continues to inspire critical inquiry and public dialogue at CADVC.
