Description of the video:
O'Neill is the #1 Master of Public Affairs in the country, which is an incredible reason to come to O'Neill and to come to Bloomington.
Knowing that I come from a program that's the best in the country gives me a lot of pride.
The O'Neill School continues to provide tremendous value not only to IU, city of Bloomington, Monroe County, state of Indiana, but literally to the entire world.
The fact that O'Neill is #1 certainly doesn't surprise me.
The school has worked very hard recognizing the trends in public policy and always pulling in outstanding faculty.
We are, even with the rankings, sort of a hidden gem.
You know, I've always advocated for our school and our alumni and our students to really go out and sound the horn of the quality of O'Neill.
There are a lot of places that are good at one or two or three things. There's no place that's as good at all of them as we are.
People want to take advantage of the best program in the country and all the benefits that come along with it.
But you don't become the best by just having the best curriculum. You've got the best faculty. You've got the best facilities.
You've got the best peers and students and you've got the best network.
You've got 50 years of alumni in the market. You've got 50 years of civic and state and federal investment all coming together.
Our faculty at the O'Neill School are the number one faculty in the world.
And because they are always doing cutting edge research, they're the thought leaders in their fields.
I would say the O'Neill faculty is very supportive. They're always here for you. They want you to succeed.
The quality of the education that we provide here is outstanding and students who come through it come out of here with a credential that people recognize.
If I was going to recommend O'Neill to a prospective student, I would tell them there is no better school to meet new friends, to learn about leadership, to study policy.
If I had a prospective student in front of me right now, I would tell them to get here as fast as they can because they're going to enjoy this program so much.
