Welcome to Newtown Friends School
Newtown Friends School is a private school serving pre-kindergarten through eighth grade students in historic Newtown, PA. We give students throughout Bucks County and nearby New Jersey communities an exceptional academic foundation, stimulating enrichment opportunities, and an affirming campus community that builds confidence and inspires a love for learning. Primary School: A Solid Start in a Nurturing Setting
In pre-kindergarten through second grade, young learners find gentle teachers who understand how important these formative years are for a child’s future. Classrooms are cheerful learning spaces where children grow in the joy of discovery as they develop a love for learning. Individualized attention fosters steady, measurable academic progress and character development. It’s a safe and affirming setting that serves as a greenhouse for growth.
Elementary School: Developing Curiosity and Problem Solving
Grades three through five cultivate each child’s innate sense of wonder and curiosity. Students thrive with NFS’s dynamic curriculum that encourages critical thinking and problem solving. Meaningful projects, field trips, fine arts, physical education, and foreign language are just some of the stimulating enrichment challenges that spark imagination. Elementary students find joy in a school culture rich with sincerity and humor.
Middle School: Both Rigorous and Relational
Grades six through eight blend academic challenges with the healthy guidance and mentoring that students need as they prepare for the increasing responsibilities and independence of high school.
