We are an award-winning community hospital serving patients across five counties in an area that spans 6,000 square miles of New York's Adirondack Mountains region. Our hospital is a member of the
Albany Med Health System
. The Glens Falls Hospital campus is home to the C.R. Wood Cancer Center, the Joyce Stock Snuggery Childbirth Center, a Wound Healing Center, and more. More than 20 regional facilities provide an array of specialized medical and surgical services. Glens Falls Hospital has a medical staff of more than 460 providers. The Sheridan Emergency Department at Glens Falls Hospital is often the first line of care for patients who have had skiing or hiking accidents or other mishaps in the Adirondacks.
We provide a health care safety net for individuals and families from the immediate Glens Falls area to smaller, geographically remote communities tucked away in the heart of the Adirondack Park.

We're Under Construction!
The Glens Falls Hospital's Sheridan Emergency Department REMAINS OPEN as we expand, offering patient and family members the more private, personal and comfortable care experience you want and deserve.
At this time, the Sheridan Emergency Department can only accommodate one visitor at a time for adults, and two visitors for children. Visitors may leave and return, or swap with another visitor, if necessary. Visitors to patients experiencing viral symptoms must wear a mask while in the department. Compassionate exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

The Sheridan Emergency Department
Our
Emergency Department
staff and services are available 24/7 at Glens Falls Hospital, 100 Park St. in Glens Falls.
We also offer a
Crisis Center
in the Emergency Department for behavioral health crises.
Heart Care
Glens Falls Hospital and
Adirondack Cardiology
provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient cardiac care. The Juckett Family Cardiovascular Center at Glens Falls Hospital is home to two interventional radiology labs, two
cardiac cath labs
, and a minor procedures room, for procedures such as coronary angioplasty and diagnostic catheterizations. Our Coronary Care Unit serves patients with severe and life-threatening heart disease and those with heart disease complications. The Cardiac Telemetry Unit serves patients who require close and continuous cardiac monitoring. Additionally, our patients have access to electrophysiology to repair and diagnose some heart ailments.
