A place like Cor Jesu is filled with the spirits and successes of anyone who walks through the doors. It is not only a strong learning experience, but it is also an atmosphere of passion, energy, achievement, and belonging. I can't help but think how lucky I am to be part of a community who will hold my hand through my struggles, celebrate with me through my accomplishments, and cheer me on through my time after high school.

Cor Jesu has truly become a second home to me. When I walk into the building every morning, I feel a sense of community and I know that everyone here wants to see me succeed.

Every time I walk through these doors, I learn something new. The halls are full of joy, laughter, curiosity, and excitement. Each day, I witness students encourage, support, and celebrate one another. I am inspired by what we do within these walls as we implement engaging and exciting teaching methods and techniques; always working to provide the most meaningful and impactful learning experiences. I am grateful to be here.

For 24 years I have felt like Cor Jesu is part of my family. Teaching thoughtful and engaged students, and then watching them succeed in so many ways, has been important. But I also get to work in an environment where my colleagues are some of my best friends, and we are a vital part of the CJ community.

It has been an honor to work with the amazing students at my alma mater. I love seeing these young women grow into their own and use what they learn in the classroom to find their passions outside of Cor Jesu. Their drive and excitement to learn makes me happy to keep coming into work every day.

Cor Jesu is family. It’s a place that my sister and I were able to share, where I met lifelong and true friends, and where I still see wonderful young women change the world. CJ is a blessing in my life, and has given me love, respect, faith, kindness and joy. I am so thankful for being a part of this community of faith and friendship!

I loved attending Cor Jesu ever since I stepped through the doors my freshman year. CJ connected me to countless friends; I was able to walk the hallways and always have someone to talk to. I was able to be a leader in my school community because I knew that I had people supporting me. Above all, I never felt more like myself than I did while attending Cor Jesu.
