Student Spotlight
Writing Competition Success
Cincinnati Christian Schools students recently competed in a multi-round writing competition with participants from across southwest Ohio and delivered outstanding results. Seven CCS students in grades 9–12 competed, with five earning medals or ribbons and automatically advancing to the state competition. First-time competitors Kendall Begley and Kyran Brown qualified for state in Division 1, while Megan Edwards, Laura Caplinger, and Hadassah Romine earned top placements in Division 2, including a first-place finish by Romine. Two additional CCS students, Katie Albrinck and Caleb Wilch, also performed well, with state advancement still to be determined.

Kelsey has been named a Commended Student in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program, placing her among 34,000 students recognized nationwide! We’re so proud of her outstanding academic achievement and dedication!
Elementary Chapel Creative Team
A big shoutout to some of our Elementary Chapel Creative Team for helping with our Pastor Appreciation video! They did an amazing job sharing their creativity, joy, and love for our pastors. We’re so proud of them! Their excitement and hard work made this project extra special, and it was such a fun way to show our pastors how much they’re appreciated.
Youth Leadership Seminar
Recently, several CCS students, nominated by teachers, staff, and coaches for their strong leadership abilities, joined over 1,000 high schoolers from 80+ Tri-State schools at Crossroads Mason for a day of learning, connection, and leadership growth. The “Next Level” theme encouraged students to push past obstacles, build new skills, and discover their potential. We’re so proud of our students for representing CCS with excellence and a heart to lead!
