Guilford Madness Hits Record Total
Nearly $1.3 million was contributed.
Our Guilford Madness campaign concluded with $1.286 million contributed by 616 donors, surpassing its 2026 goal, more than doubling last year’s total and setting a new record for a spring giving campaign at the College.

Guilford opened student to a world he'd never thought about
“Mo” Mohammadi '26, an Honors Student, is designing an emergency-response drone capable of delivering medical supplies, food, and water to people in hard-to-reach or disaster-stricken areas. He says: “I’m such a different person than I was three years ago. I found so many opportunities [at Guilford] and I’m glad I took advantage of them."

NSF grant to expand faculty research and collaboration
A $400,000 three-year grant from the National Science Foundation will help Guilford strengthen faculty research and resource sharing with three other institutions. The grant will help the College identify barriers to external partnerships and launch a new faculty fellows program that supports professional development and community engagement.

A willingness to say yes — to new people, new challenges, new versions of herself — has been the heartbeat of Zaria Porter’s ’27 college experience at Guilford. “Here, I didn’t know anyone, and that made it easier to try new things.
