Having space to think is
A BREATH OF FRESH AIR.
In a world filled with distractions, Colorado College is a place where you can truly focus. In every aspect of your life, you'll be given the time and space to tackle complex problems, collaborate across disciplines, and drive meaningful change.
THE LUXURY OF FOCUS
Focus deeply on
ONE COURSE AT A TIME.
The Block Plan supercharges a semester's worth of learning into less than a month. It's intense and rigorous, with each block pushing you to meet full-term academic standards in just weeks. But when you're fully locked in on one thing, you can accomplish more than you ever thought possible.

THE BLOCK PLAN
When you're in a block,
YOU'RE ALL IN.
With the Block Plan, you take one class at a time, eight times per year. You're never pulled in a million different directions. And each 3.5-week block is followed by a five-day Block Break to help reset your brain.

COLORADO SPRINGS
The air may be thinner,
BUT THE THINKING GOES DEEPER.
Our campus is located three miles from the mountains and three blocks from downtown. We get 300 days of sun. Being in a city surrounded by natural beauty provides an endless opportunity for adventure–however you define it.

About CC
Small School. Big thinkers.
CC is a selective liberal arts college with just over 2,000 students on campus. If you talk to any student or alum, they will probably tell you the first time they set foot on Tava Quad and brushed shoulders with Tigers, they just knew this was the place for them.

It’s like learning on “do not disturb” mode.
When you’re only taking one class at a time, you have the space to dig in, follow ideas wherever they lead, and actually breathe while learning with purpose and intention.

You can do anything
you give your full, undivided attention to.
Imagine how that will serve you in whatever you do after college.

GIVING & CONNECTING
Nothing says “the Block Plan works” quite like CC ALUMS.
Your ability to focus, find clarity, and think critically sets you apart. As you gain experience, these abilities will help you see the big picture—made even more brilliant by the presence of your Tiger community, right there with you, sharing the view.

LET’S FOCUS ON YOU.

Colorado College occupies the traditional territories of the Nuchu, known today as the Southern Ute Tribe, the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe, and the Northern Ute People. Other tribes have also lived here including the Apache, Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Comanche—and notably, continue to do so, along with many other Indigenous Peoples. To actively seek social justice, we acknowledge that the land continues to hold the values and traditions of the original inhabitants and caretakers of this land. We pay honor and respect to their ancestors, elders, and youth—past, present, and future.
