Rowe, General Authority Seventy, shared the story of an Ensign College graduate who “faced her own Mount Everest.” That graduate—Vicky Tadić Dean—overcame extraordinary hardship through faith in Jesus Christ, education, and determination.
Ensign College Reaches Hispanic Community through Spanish-Language Event
More than 150 people recently attended an Ensign College Education Night hosted by the West Jordan Utah Wasatch Meadows Stake (Spanish). The event was held entirely in Spanish and welcomed participants from Spanish-speaking congregations in nearby stakes.

Ensign College Announces 139th Commencement
Ensign College will hold its 139th Commencement exercises in the historic Salt Lake Tabernacle on Temple Square on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. For nearly 140 years, the College has honored graduating students who are prepared to enter the workforce with job-ready skills and experience. More certificates and degrees will be awarded than ever before in the history of Ensign College, with 5,676 awards conferred upon 3,893 graduates—3,402 of which are online students through a partnership with BYU-Pathway Worldwide.

Ensign College Students Shine at Utah Entrepreneur Challenge
Two Ensign College students recently earned recognition at the 2026 Tim Draper Utah Entrepreneur Challenge, a statewide business-model competition hosted by the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute at the University of Utah. Liya Ngabola won the competition’s $20,000 grand prize for Shurugwi Prime Breeders, and Alex Goates’s business, Uinta Life, received a judge award.
