A Mix of Two Passions – Julia Johnson-Toney
Julia Johnson Toney, ’20, ’22 (M.A. in I-O Psychology), discovered her passions for psychology and business as an undergraduate. To combine her two passions, she earned her Master’s in I-O Psychology at Meredith.
Building Confidence and Resilience – Danika Ray
Through a wide range of leadership roles, faculty support, and internships, international studies and political science major Danika Ray, ’24, gained confidence and skills that will set her up for success in her studies at Campbell Law School.
Exploring the Power of Research – Rayna Maleki
Mathematics and psychology major Rayna Maleki, ’23, came to Meredith thinking she’d study engineering. Instead, with the support of several faculty mentors, she fell in love with math and research. After graduation, she’ll go to Clemson University to earn her M.S. in mathematical sciences.

Giving Day Exceeds $1.7 Million
Meredith College raised $1,704,966
in 24 hours during the College’s Make It Count for Meredith Giving Day, held on February 24, 2026. The fundraising event exceeded its $1.5 million goal by more than $200,00, with 2,568 donors contributing to the campaign.
Meredith History Moment: Presidential Inaugurations
In April 2025, Meredith College celebrated the inauguration of its ninth president, Aimee Sapp, with a nine-day celebration. Presidential inaugurations are important moments in a college’s history.
