Kimberly Wragg '20
“I became interested in the Japanese language when I was twelve years old after finding and listening to Japanese music on the Internet. I really loved the music and wanted to learn more about the culture, the language, and the history.”
Quenshawn Brandon '20
Brandon worked as a summer camp unit lead with the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia where she managed counselors, supervised campers, and ensured that daily camp activities went smoothly for her team.
Jessica Guerrero '20
As an advertising and marketing communication major, Jessica gained first-hand experience on Amazon’s social media customer service team during her internship.
Michael McGhee
Associate Professor of Music Michael McGhee produced a CD of solo organ music, Tapestry, recorded in Wesleyan’s Porter Auditorium on the College’s historic Aeolian organ. Featured on the national broadcast of the Pipedreams, airing on about 145 NPR stations across the country.
Holly Boettger-Tong
Imagine transporting a battery-operated microscope, human tissue specimens, and a variety of water samples through several airports, a range of vehicles, and finally into the foothills of the Himalayas.
Jim Ferrari
Professor Ferrari was presented the Earle R. Greene Memorial Award for achievement in ornithology and bird education from the Georgia Ornithological Society (GOS). He has served as President of GOS (2011-13) and is the current editor of the Oriole.
Maria Georgieva ’09
Since 2015, Maria Georgieva ’09 has served Harvard University’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Center for Communicable Disease Dynamics, studying the human bacterial pathogen Streptococcus pneumoniae.
As a leadership coach, change agent, radio talk show host, and renowned speaker, Heather says she has come to realize that change does not happen on global levels. Change happens one person at a time. After graduating from Wesleyan with a degree in business administration and management, Heather earned her master’s degree in business administration from Mercer University. Last year she completed the Advancing Women in Leadership Assessment Certificate.
Jill is a marketing teacher for purpose-driven entrepreneurs and founder of The Celestial Circle. Through Celestial University, she serves many types of businesses from health coaches to travel planners, animal communicators to graphic designers.
