We are one of the only Catholic colleges spanning from Virginia to Florida. Rooted in the Benedictine spirit of hospitality, our campus of 1,500 students is a place where learning happens inside and outside the classroom and lifelong friendships develop. Our rich history dates to 1876 when the college was founded by German
monks whose desire it was to bring traditional Catholic education to the American South.
Our campus is located in the city of Belmont, North Carolina, and its beauty and history are cherished by students and faculty alike, so we know you’ll feel at home here.
