What is IWS?
The Institute for Worship Studies (IWS) offers a transformative educational experience for leaders who are eager to deepen their understanding of worship from a biblical and theological perspective. Whether you pursue a Master of Worship Studies (MWS) or a Doctor of Worship Studies (DWS), IWS emphasizes servant leadership and practical application in ministry.
At IWS, you will:
Gain a deeper, purpose-driven understanding of worship in your tradition.
Develop a solid biblical and theological foundation for worship practices.
Be equipped to apply worship principles practically in your ministry.
Engage in a supportive, prayerful community with like-minded leaders.
The hybrid learning model combines on-campus intensives and online coursework, providing both community connection and flexible learning opportunities. These programs aim not only to equip you with knowledge but also to help you apply that knowledge in your ministry and grow in your relationship with Christ.
Through your time at IWS, you’ll be challenged to think critically, lead with conviction, and foster lifelong friendships that support your calling in whatever leadership role you are in.
