Playland-Not-At-The-Beach - Museum of Fun - Pinball and Magic Fun
Thanks and Goodbye
It is with
great sadness
we announce after 10 years of fun and
merriment,
Playland-Not-at-the-Beach
has
closed
. Unfortunately,
like the original Playland at the Beach, we will be making room for housing. In this
case it is apartments not condos. In another eerily similar repeat of history
we closed on Labor Day, as did our namesake park.
Playland-Not-at-the-Beach was a dream started by Richard Tuck in the late 1990's
and opened May 30, 2008. Over the years,
Richard Tuck
,
Tim
Sauer
, and
Frank Biafore
, assisted by many, many
dedicated
volunteers
, hosted thousands of guests at Playland-Not-at-the-Beach.
We have enjoyed seeing your smiling faces and will miss all of you. It has been a
wonderful time that no one will ever forget.
Thanks
to all that came to see
Playland-Not-at-the-Beach
and to the numerous volunteers that contributed to a
little bit of fun in celebration of the original Playland-at-the-Beach.
