Technical Support Officer
Content Overview
Officers are employed to assist the Engineers in conducting feasibility studies, system administration, data administration, network administration, communications administration, project management, fault management, performance management, security management, system development, vendor evaluation, project implementation or system maintenance/repair, etc. In addition, the Technical Officer is required to co-ordinate support activities, provide technical support for new equipment and conduct in-house training programs.
Entry Requirements
A local polytechnic Diploma in Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Technology or related field.

Technical Support Officer Grade 6 (entry grade)
– Diploma Holders
$2,240 – $2,444
Technical Support Officer Grade 8 (entry grade)
– NITEC/Higher NITEC/GCE ‘A’ Level/GCE ‘O’ Level
$1,891 – $2,159
* Appointment grade and starting salary will vary and commensurate according to assessment of the fit of academic qualifications, relevant/useful work experiences and completion of Full-Time National Service.
