Merit-based scholarships
are typically awarded to approximately 10% of the incoming 9th grade class. Scholarship awards are renewed automatically each year for 4 years (contingent on maintaining good academic and disciplinary standards).
The Admissions Committee determines scholarships allocation based on applicants’ demonstrated academic achievement, leadership traits, alumnae legacy status, and reflection of the CSJ’s charisma within their life outside of school and during their 7th and 8th grade years.
Students may receive merit-based scholarships in conjunction with financial aid; one award does not affect the other.
Students interested in earning a merit-based scholarship must submit
an admissions application
and attend Scholars' Day on January 16, 2026.
