ABOUT THE COLLEGE
The College of Architecture, Planning, and Public Affairs (CAPPA) at UTA offers degree programs in architecture, interior design, sustainable urban design, landscape architecture, planning (master’s and Ph.D.), and public administration (Master of Public Administration and Ph.D.). Three undergraduate minors are also offered: architectural history, environmental/sustainability studies, and urban affairs. Graduate students can select from five certificate programs: Public Budgeting and Financial Management, Urban Nonprofit Management, Development Review, Geographic Information Systems, and Transportation Planning and Policy. Two new degree programs were launched in September 2021: B.S. in sustainable urban design and a post-professional M.S. in sustainable building technology. Faculty and dedicated staff inspire, motivate, and educate students to pursue excellence in academic scholarship, design practice, creative thinking and critical reflection.
