OUR PERMANENT EXHIBITION
Our permanent exhibition gives a lively account of the major events that shaped Tiree’s landscape, history and culture. These include agriculture, the second world war, the sea, domestic life, geology, the saints, vikings, clans, emigration, houses, the weather and Tiree today. The images below give a taste of the exhibition, and we hope that you will visit us in person for the full experience!
In addition to our permanent exhibition, we regularly create new mini-displays and rotate items from storage onto public display.
Our latest mini-display on Tiree’s geology has proved so popular that it will become part of the permanent exhibition.
Be sure to visit to find out what’s new! Our permanent display panels are posted below.
