The B. Tech (Computer Science Engineering) in AI Techniques and ML Algorithms is a unique, industry-integrated program developed in partnership with L&T EduTech. The program nurtures a vibrant community of industry-ready students and researchers who are passionate about applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to solve real-world challenges. Curriculum Highlights
The curriculum of B. Tech (Computer Science Engineering) AI Techniques and ML Algorithms is designed in consultation with industry experts from L&T EduTech. The curriculum is NEP compliant and industry oriented. It focuses on state-of-the-art subjects and experiential learning along with capstone projects. The students will explore IT World Essentials, Python for Machine Learning, Deep Learning and GenAI Basics, Hadoop Ecosystem with HDFS and MapReduce among others.
As part of the curriculum, students undertake structured progression of project-based learning. In the fifth semester, the AI Capstone Project, supervised by L&T EduTech, provides industry-aligned, hands-on exposure through real-world problem statements. In the seventh semester, students complete an advanced Capstone Project (5 credits), where they independently select a topic of interest to design and develop an industry-relevant solution. In the eighth semester, students are required to undertake a 12-credit project, choosing from an Industrial Project, an R&D Project, or a Start-up Project, thereby consolidating their technical expertise and readiness for professional practice.

Open Electives
Open electives are university-wide courses offered across multiple schools. Since AI and ML techniques are applicable across diverse domains, students can choose electives in areas such as media, law, economics, and biotechnology, enabling them to apply their AI and ML skills in interdisciplinary and real-world contexts.
Projects
In the eighth semester, students are required to undertake a 12-credit Industrial Project, R&D Project, or Start-up Project. The AI Capstone Project in the fifth semester is directly mentored and monitored by L&T EduTech, providing industry-level, project-based learning. Additionally, the 5-credit Capstone Project in the seventh semester is an advanced course designed to prepare students for industry, allowing them to independently select a topic of interest and develop a comprehensive project.
Internships
The B. Tech Computer Science Engineering AI Techniques and ML Algorithms program includes two mandatory internships of eight weeks and 16 weeks. The eight-week internship is undertaken after the third year during the summer vacation, while the 16-week internship is completed in the final semester. In addition, students may optionally pursue internships after the first year and second year during summer breaks. The program also offers the option of a one-year industry internship in the final year, providing extended real-world exposure.

Program Objectives
The B. Tech (Computer Science Engineering) in AI Techniques and ML Algorithms aims to equip students with strong computer science foundations and specialised expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts. The program is designed to develop proficiency in industry-relevant tools, algorithms, and frameworks through an NEP-compliant, industry-oriented curriculum created in collaboration with L&T EduTech. With a strong emphasis on experiential learning, project-based progression, internships, and interdisciplinary exposure, the program seeks to prepare students to design, build, and deploy solutions for real-world problems in areas such as retail, healthcare, finance, and banking.

Apply mathematical foundations, algorithmic principles and computer science theory in modelling, design and conduct of experiments as well as in data interpretation and analysis.

Curriculum Highlights
The curriculum of B. Tech (Computer Science Engineering) AI Techniques and ML Algorithms is designed in consultation with industry experts from L&T EduTech. The curriculum is NEP compliant and industry oriented. It focuses on state-of-the-art subjects and experiential learning along with capstone projects. The students will explore IT World Essentials, Python for Machine Learning, Deep Learning and GenAI Basics, Hadoop Ecosystem with HDFS and MapReduce among others.
As part of the curriculum, students undertake structured progression of project-based learning. In the fifth semester, the AI Capstone Project, supervised by L&T EduTech, provides industry-aligned, hands-on exposure through real-world problem statements. In the seventh semester, students complete an advanced Capstone Project (5 credits), where they independently select a topic of interest to design and develop an industry-relevant solution. In the eighth semester, students are required to undertake a 12-credit project, choosing from an Industrial Project, an R&D Project, or a Start-up Project, thereby consolidating their technical expertise and readiness for professional practice.

Project Work – The AI Capstone: Exploring Data to Deep Learning
Open Electives
Open electives are university-wide courses offered across multiple schools. Since AI and ML techniques are applicable across diverse domains, students can choose electives in areas such as media, law, economics, and biotechnology, enabling them to apply their AI and ML skills in interdisciplinary and real-world contexts.
Projects
In the eighth semester, students are required to undertake a 12-credit Industrial Project, R&D Project, or Start-up Project. The AI Capstone Project in the fifth semester is directly mentored and monitored by L&T EduTech, providing industry-level, project-based learning. Additionally, the 5-credit Capstone Project in the seventh semester is an advanced course designed to prepare students for industry, allowing them to independently select a topic of interest and develop a comprehensive project.
Internships
The B. Tech Computer Science Engineering AI Techniques and ML Algorithms program includes two mandatory internships of eight weeks and 16 weeks. The eight-week internship is undertaken after the third year during the summer vacation, while the 16-week internship is completed in the final semester. In addition, students may optionally pursue internships after the first year and second year during summer breaks. The program also offers the option of a one-year industry internship in the final year, providing extended real-world exposure.

Program Objectives
The B. Tech (Computer Science Engineering) in AI Techniques and ML Algorithms aims to equip students with strong computer science foundations and specialised expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts. The program is designed to develop proficiency in industry-relevant tools, algorithms, and frameworks through an NEP-compliant, industry-oriented curriculum created in collaboration with L&T EduTech. With a strong emphasis on experiential learning, project-based progression, internships, and interdisciplinary exposure, the program seeks to prepare students to design, build, and deploy solutions for real-world problems in areas such as retail, healthcare, finance, and banking.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to:
Develop the ability to apply the knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering appropriate to the discipline.
Apply mathematical foundations, algorithmic principles and computer science theory in modelling, design and conduct of experiments as well as in data interpretation and analysis.
Develop the ability to identify, formulate and solve real engineering problems and understand the global impact of engineering solutions.
