Tailored education sessions and protected teaching time to develop clinical and practical skills.
One-on-one learning with specialists from a range of disciplines — orthopaedics to general surgery, cardiology to gynaecology and obstetrics, and more!
Participate in research, audits and quality improvement projects.
Access clinical decision support tools and resources.
Rotations
Specialty and subspeciality opportunities are available within:
Cardiology
Emergency
General Medicine
General Surgery
Intensive Care
Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Neonates
Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery and Rehabilitation
North West Hospital and Health Service Emergency Department (Mt Isa)
Supported work life balance
The training program supports a work life balance with no night shift, no on-call and no weekends. Please note, weekend work may be required to work in the Emergency Department rotation.
