Equip your student for college and beyond, while giving them time to pursue passions outside of academics. At GAC, one way we innovate is by creating vibrant learning environments that give our students every opportunity to grow in the ways that work best for them.
Students enrolled in online courses at Ethos School develop crucial online learning skills. All classes and teachers maintain the same high quality academics and faith infused curriculum of the GAC community. More than 600 students from across the globe are currently enrolled in Ethos School. They collaborate and learn with peers from other cultures, further preparing them for the global workforce. They gain the flexibility to add classes, deepen areas of study, and pursue extracurriculars.
Matt, one of our Ethos parents, has this to share about his experience:
“Ethos has been an outstanding resource for our family. Our daughter is currently in her second year at West Point. She is a Space Science major which is an offering in West Point's physics and nuclear engineering department. She was well prepared for this rigorous academic load in part because of classes like AP Physics which she took through Ethos. Similarly, our daughter is taking Mandarin at West Point and will study abroad in Taiwan for a semester next year. Her language classes in high school were also done through Ethos, and we are thankful for how well they prepared her for college.”

Based on research and the demand for digital skills in the workplace, education systems are moving toward more online options. We are preparing students for college and their future careers by offering rigorous online courses. We have been very pleased with high success rates matching those of face-to-face classrooms.”

Ethos School offers rigorous 4th-12th grade courses, including an extensive catalog of Advanced Placement courses and 7 World Languages. Ethos teachers routinely maintain an 80% AP test pass rate, compared to 62.5% nationally.
Ethos teachers are Christian, caring, and strong in their subject matter. All teachers have or are currently pursuing a graduate degree, and average over 10 years of teaching experience. They have extensive knowledge in online course creation, and have been online students themselves. Ethos faculty teach from a Christian perspective, where students are allowed to explore in a safe, faith-filled environment.
Collaboration, feedback, and consistent communication expectations are the hallmark of the online educational platform within Ethos School. Students will regularly communicate with peers and their teacher through asynchronous and synchronous means.

“The Ethos platform has given me access to classes I would normally never find. I believe that if a student ever feels like they’re missing out with their standard curriculum, then Ethos is the perfect place to pursue further study in any area they want. For me, this applies to classes like AP European History and AP Art History, which were only offered on Ethos. They have been some of my favorites throughout my high school years simply because they allowed me to “branch out” in my social science and history studies. I have yet to take Creative Writing on Ethos, but it is also another class offered on the platform and not directly at my school. As I am interested in creative writing myself, I am glad to have the opportunity available!"
“Ethos has prepared me for college by allowing me the flexibility to be responsible for managing my time. In the past, students were required to be physically present in classes. Thanks to advanced technology, online learning provides a flexible option for many students. Similar to college courses, Ethos allows students to work independently. I would recommend Ethos classes for other students because Ethos is a remarkable way to interface with instructors and peers online. With my busy schedule as an athlete, taking Ethos classes allows me to complete my work on my own time.”
