Update
2025 TIP
The Bay Area's 2025 TIP includes more than 300 transportation projects with over $11.7 billion in committed federal, state and local funding for federal fiscal years 2025 through 2028.
MTC approved the 2025 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and the Transportation-Air Quality Conformity Analysis for the 2025 TIP on September 25, 2024.
MTC forwarded the 2025 TIP to Caltrans to be included in the 2025 Federal-Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (FSTIP) by reference. The State approved the 2025 FSTIP on November 15, 2024. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) approved the 2025 FSTIP on December 16, 2024.

The Metropolitan Transportation Commission's Draft 2025 TIP and Draft Transportation-Air Quality Conformity Analysis for the 2025 TIP were available for public review and comment from Thursday, June 27, 2024 through Friday, July 26, 2024 at 5 p.m. MTC received 18 comments from the public during this period. These comments, as well as staff's responses, were presented to the Programming and Allocations Committee on September 11, 2024. Read the

2025 TIP
The Bay Area's 2025 TIP includes more than 300 transportation projects with over $11.7 billion in committed federal, state and local funding for federal fiscal years 2025 through 2028.
