A non-refundable search fee of $16 will be charged for every application in accordance with the
Fees Act 1920
. Additional document fee(s) will also be levied based on the type and number of documents requested. The document fee(s) must be paid within 30 days, or the application will be considered closed.
Please note that:
Follow-up requests for additional documents will constitute a new search. The non-refundable search fee and appropriate document fee(s) will be payable.
Police reserve the right not to provide all documents applied for
and
to redact certain information within the document(s) such as details of the caller in First Information Report, etc; on grounds of confidentiality.
If applicants are not directly involved in the case, their applications may be rejected.
Requests for documents outside those listed below will not be entertained.

1.1 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility
Applicants who are directly involved in the case or are legally acting on their behalf. The Police may reject the application in absence of this established right, and as an exercise of administrative discretion.
Pre-Requisites
Client/Applicant’s particulars (Title, Full Name, NRIC)
Singapore registered contact number (e.g. mobile/ office or residential number)
Report/IP Number
Date of Accident/Violation (for Traffic Police’s application)
Case details (e.g. nature of offence, date and time of case)

Approximately three weeks from the receipt of the application and if all necessary information are provided
You will be notified of the outcome via email. You can login to ‘Check Application Status for Certified True Copy of Police Documents’ to view your application status.
