The AUD Alumni Relations fosters a sense of community among successful graduates who remain extremely engaged with the university leading to an active alumni network, which in turn, favors lifelong career advancement and contribution to the university.
The alumni relations division aims to build and sustain enduring relationships between the university and its alumni, with academic, corporate, and government entities that will help increase visibility and awareness of AUD while benefiting members of the university community, most notably the students and faculty.
AUD Alumni can claim the Alumni ID Card from the Registrar’s Office, which provides special
discounts
from businesses in the community and access to Campus.
ALUMNI ACCESS
The American University in Dubai extends an open invitation to AUD alumni while maintaining specific access protocols to ensure an optimal campus environment. The following guidelines govern alumni campus access:
Campus visitation for alumni visitation hours is restricted to 8:00 am through 10:00 pm daily.
Alumni shall enjoy access to the sports facilities until 7:00 pm; otherwise, they can use other facilities such as the cafeteria, F&B outlets, and public seating areas until 10:00 pm.
Upon arrival at the main entrance gate, all alumni must present a valid Alumni Identification Card for campus access verification.
AUD Alumni are allowed to be accompanied by (2) visitors at a time. Alumni guests must leave their Emirates ID (EID) or any other form of official documentation (Passport) with the security personnel at the gate.
AUD Alumni guests can use AUD’s food and beverage outlets and other service shops; however, they are not allowed to use other facilities such as but not limited to the sports facilities, gyms, labs, classrooms, and the AUD Library.
Alumni are welcome to attend AUD’s public events.
