Timeframe

8:30-11:30am
Whole class gathering and attendance.
Morning work period for all students via Google Education. Guides deliver small-group lessons in virtual meeting, while assistants monitor follow-up work in the virtual classroom. Guides visit Google Meet Classroom between lessons to offer support, guidance and encouragement.
11:30-12:00pm
Clean-up morning work and student prepares their lunch.
12:00-12:50pm
Eat lunch and clean-up lunch area.
12:50-1:30pm
Recess outdoors – all weather.
1:30-3:30pm
Afternoon work period.
This can include:
• Classroom community check-in
• Individual work meetings with the Guide
• Small-group or large-group supervised work time
• Guide-led chapter book read aloud
• Work clean-up
• At-home job
* Each classroom is on-campus one afternoon per week for PE, Gardening and an activity with their Guide & Assistant. The classroom is comprised of three small-group cohorts that rotate every 45-minutes.

11:15-11:30am
Wrap-up and clean-up morning work. Update journal and add more detail.
11:30am-1:30pm
Lunch break & Recess.
• Clear lunch area
• Prepare food
• Say intentions, gratitude or grace before lunch
• Eat lunch
• Clean lunch area
• Outdoor recess encouraged
1:30-3:00pm
Afternoon work period includes a gathering of the whole class, attendance, journaling update and community-building activities. These can include:
