FLBC Music Program | Ensembles & Choirs | Free Lutheran Bible College Music The FLBC Music Program seeks both to equip future congregational music leaders AND to foster musical confidence in every student. Continuing its long-held tradition of great student involvement, a majority of the student body participates in at least one aspect of the music program. Watch Video Course List FLBC Concert Choir provides students an opportunity to worship the Lord through a variety of different choral pieces, from sacred classics to contemporary gospel arrangements, and plenty in-between. Concert Choir typically travels during their two week Spring Break. Tour locations and dates for 2026 can be found below. This choir is directed by Mr. Andrew Hanson. FLBC Proclaim Choir provides an opportunity for students from all musical levels to gain confidence and ability to use their voice to worship God. Proclaim Choir meets three times a week throughout the year to prepare songs for two different weekend tours in the Spring Semester. Mr. Andrew Hanson is the director of Proclaim Choir. The FLBC Symphonic Wind Ensemble, directed by Mr. Andrew Hanson, includes strings, winds, brass, and percussion. The Symphonic Wind Ensemble participates in the Spring and Christmas Concerts and often doubles as a Handbell Choir. FLBC Gospel Teams provide students with an outreach opportunity to point people to Jesus Christ, encourage congregations, and facilitate connections between FLBC students and congregations. Many faculty and staff help oversee and mentor these student-led groups. These lessons carry an extra fee, but allow for direct teaching appropriate for each student’s skill level. Private lessons in other instruments may be arranged.
