The Department of Allied Health Sciences, Jagannath University, Jaipur, successfully organized a two-day National Allied Health Innovation Conclave 2026 on 23rd and 24th March 2026 at the university campus in collaboration with Eternal Hospital sanaganer. The conclave was designed as a dynamic platform to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical healthcare applications through simulation-based learning and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Day 1: Inaugural Ceremony and Academic Sessions
The event commenced at 9:30 AM with the registration of participants, followed by the inauguration ceremony, lamp lighting, and the National Anthem. The formal welcome address was delivered by Dr. Kavita Sharma, Head of the Department, who highlighted the importance of experiential learning in allied health sciences.
The dignitaries shared their valuable insights:
Mr. Tanmay Pattanayak (Registrar) emphasized discipline, academic rigor, and institutional growth.
Ms. Puja Yadav (Vice President, Yuva Healthcare) spoke about industry-academia collaboration and the need for skill-oriented training.
Prof. (Dr.) O.P. Sharma (Pro-Vice Chancellor) प्रेरित students to focus on innovation and critical thinking in healthcare delivery.
The academic sessions featured distinguished experts:
Dr. Trupti Barot, Consultant in Transfusion Medicine, delivered an insightful session on blood transfusion practices.
Dr. Divaanshu Gupta, Consultant in Anaesthesia & Critical Care, discussed emergency preparedness and critical care management.
Dr. Bhawana Singhal, Principal, MGUAHS, shared her expertise on clinical excellence and academic leadership in healthcare education.
The sessions were followed by a poster presentation showcasing research work by students and scholars.
In the post-lunch session, rotational workshops were conducted, including ICU, OT, Radiology, and Medical Laboratory Technology sessions, providing hands-on training to participants.
Day 2: Skill-Based Training and Valedictory
The second day began with a welcome note and continued with an expert session by Mr. Rakesh Kaul, Chief Radiation Therapist, who discussed advancements in radiotherapy practices.
The highlight of the day was the emergency mock drill, where students actively participated in simulated emergency scenarios, enhancing their response skills.Workshops such as ICU on Wheels, Blood Transfusion Protocol, and Blood Banking Training provided practical exposure to real-life healthcare situations.
Further, a quiz competition and cultural program were organized to encourage student engagement and holistic development.
Conclusion
The conclave successfully achieved its objective of integrating theoretical knowledge with practical exposure. It provided a valuable platform for students, faculty, and healthcare professionals to enhance their skills, exchange knowledge, and develop industry readiness.
The event concluded with a valedictory ceremony, acknowledging the contributions of speakers, organizers, and participants. The program was a remarkable step towards fostering innovation, teamwork, and excellence in allied health sciences.
