Welcome to Bicol University – the University for Humanity for sustainable societies, and the top performing school in social work, accountancy, nursing, education, engineering, midwifery, and law!
For the past 55 years, Bicol University, a Level III AACCUP accredited institution with 3 QS Stars ranking, continues to be the leading state university in the Bicol region.
Our vision of a University for Humanity characterized by productive scholarship, collaborative service, distinctive character, and transformative leadership for sustainable societies, is built on a general understanding of the importance of human values, social responsibility, and the betterment of society. With this vision, we are continuously focusing on producing graduates who are not only academically proficient but also ethically aware and committed to making a positive impact on the world.
At present, we are the regional hub for Global Citizenship Education which is part of the UN SDG 4, and our Equity Policy promotes inclusivity, which are tangible outcomes rooted on our 9-point agenda, which we are working to integrate into our academic and program offerings, as we periodically conduct curriculum reviews; ensuring that our curriculum and program offerings are at par and attuned to the national directions and global thrusts.
