Referral Information Skip to content Skip to accessibility statement link Referral Information Referrals to the pain management service are usually made by, or on behalf of General Practitioners (GP’s) and Hospital based Consultants/Doctors. Referrals can be made via SCI gateway. Please address referrals to ‘Pain Medicine/Management’. All chronic pain referrals should be directed to the main department and not individual clinicians. It is expected that management options appropriate to primary care have been exhausted prior to referral.
