Scholarships and Bursaries
Since the mid-1800s, The King’s School has been fortunate to receive generous philanthropic donations, enabling the establishment of our Scholarships and Bursaries program. These awards have been made possible by the ongoing support of our alumni, current and former parents, and the broader community.
Scholarships and Bursaries are available to boys entering Years 7 to 10 at The King’s School.
All scholarships and bursaries are governed by specific terms and conditions, which will be detailed in any offer letter. Awards are subject to these conditions and, in most cases, continue for the duration of the student’s enrolment at The King’s School, up to graduation from Year 12.
Some awards are means-tested. Bursaries, particularly, are designed to assist with boarding costs and are dependent on an assessment of financial need.
Awards
Our School has a wide range of scholarships and bursaries, with the majority awarded to boys entering Year 7. However, there are limited opportunities for boys entering other year levels.
