Rite of Admission to Candidacy for Six Seminarians
October 24, 2025
On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary was blessed to have the
Most Reverend William Byrne, Bishop of the Diocese of Springfield, Massachusetts
, preside over the Admission to Candidacy for Holy Orders for six of our seminarians.
Each of these seminarians was approved by their Bishop and will continue their studies to become Catholic priests. During the Mass, each one expressed his intention to complete his preparation for Holy Orders and his dedication to that goal.
The six seminarians were:
Patrick L. Bridges
, Diocese of Orlando;
Jarrad M. Condreay
, Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas;
David J. Ferrucci
, Diocese of Fall River;
Nicolas L. Shump
, Diocese of Kansas City - St. Joseph in Missouri;
Michael A. Vento
, Diocese of Gallup; and
Matthew T. Yogus
, Diocese of Savannah.

Rite of Admission to Candidacy for Six Seminarians

On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary was blessed to have the
Most Reverend William Byrne, Bishop of the Diocese of Springfield, Massachusetts
, preside over the Admission to Candidacy for Holy Orders for six of our seminarians.
Each of these seminarians was approved by their Bishop and will continue their studies to become Catholic priests. During the Mass, each one expressed his intention to complete his preparation for Holy Orders and his dedication to that goal.
