AUIS Program Updates: Barbados Campus
After careful review of the current COVID19 situation in Barbados, the AUIS Academic Administration has taken the decision to reopen the AUIS Barbados Campus for in class sessions.
The reopening process will be:
Full reopening of campus for in-person sessions beginning Fall 2022 semester on September 5th 2022.
This fall, we look forward to welcoming students and faculty back to campus and providing the opportunities for social interaction and engagement that are vital to the medical school experience. As we do so, the health and safety of our campus community will continue to remain a top priority. The AUIS reopening of the Barbados campus will be in full compliance with the “Guidelines for the safe operation of schools – April 2021” approved by the Barbados Ministry of Education. We will require that all eligible faculty, staff and students receive the full schedule of COVID-19 vaccination prior to the start of the Fall Semester in Barbados!
