The Behavioral Health Program is committed to supporting Detroit residents facing mental health and substance misuse challenges. We provide behavioral and mental health training, substance misuse education, harm reduction strategies, and Naloxone education and distribution. Our team conducts outreach to residents, businesses, and organizations throughout the city to increase awareness and access to lifesaving resources. Our goal is to reduce stigma, remove barriers to care, and empower individuals to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
The Behavioral Health Program provides licenses to providers seeking to operate as a licensed syringe service program in the city. The program is committed to promoting harm reduction, preventing the spread of infectious diseases, and connecting participants with resources that support their overall health and well being.
