Role of Denver Academy Board of Trustees
Denver Academy is a non-profit independent school with a volunteer board of trustees which helps lead the school toward the fulfillment of its mission and purpose.
Obligations and duties of DA Board members include:
Stewarding the school toward a long and prosperous future
Overseeing strategic goals and long-range planning
Assuring the health of DA including financial stability, risk management, and fiduciary obligations
Supporting Denver Academy’s head of school and other administrators
Denver Academy Trustees have a strategic balance of strengths to ensure the Board operates efficiently as it pursues its goals and supports DA’s administration.
