IIST also offers a range of stand-alone postgraduate programs in various specializations related to space science and technology, such as satellite systems, space communications, and spacecraft systems. These programs provide in-depth knowledge in focused areas, preparing students for research roles and career opportunities in related industries.
Spanning four semesters, the programs include a final-year project, which students undertake either within the institute or in collaboration with research and development (R&D) organizations. Upon successful completion of the project, appropriate academic credits are awarded.
