Living with sickle cell anemia, she made history in 2025 as the first known person with the condition to finish the NYC Marathon. She now fosters alumni connections as a dedicated volunteer leader in Boston. Alumni Profile: Heidi Wong (GSAS ’24) Known by her audience as “The Horror Queen,” Heidi has built a distinctive space where glamorous visuals meet chilling narratives. From studying creative writing at NYU to creating her own series, Twisted Tales, her path reflects a commitment to authenticity, personal growth, and creative courage.
