Saved courses Search website International Application Process Your journey to BCU Step 1 Apply and receive your application number If you haven’t received an email with your application number four weeks after applying, get in touch with the international team. How to apply Step 2 Accept your conditional offer Log in to your student portal to accept your conditional offer. You’ll then need to provide the documents we’ve asked for. Accepting your offer Step 3 Accept your unconditional offer If you’ve provided all the documents and evidence we require, you may receive an unconditional offer. Log in to your student portal to accept this. Student portal Step 4 Pay your deposit Once you’ve accepted your unconditional offer you need to pay your deposit. How to pay Step 5 Apply for your CAS You need to apply for your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptances of Studies number) in order to apply for your VISA. Getting your CAS Step 6 Apply for your VISA Once you’ve got your CAS you can apply for your Student Visa. Getting your VISA Step 7 Start thinking about accommodation There’s a range of accommodation for you to choose from, so you’ll want to start considering your options. How to apply Step 8 Prepare for the UK You might want to start planning for your arrival in the UK, including what you should bring and booking our Meet and Greet service for a ride from the airport. Book your meet and greet Step 9 Enrol online You’ll receive an email asking you to enrol online around a month before you start your programme. You’ll need to do this before you can enrol in person on campus. Enrolment Step 10 Open a UK bank account Once you’ve enrolled online and chosen a UK retail bank, you can apply for a bank account, which you’ll need for your time in the UK. Plan your finances Step 11 International Orientation Week If you hopefully get your VISA in time, you’ll be able to join us for our International Activities Week in September, where you’ll be able to start making friends and get to know the city and campus. Step 12 Think about part time work You might want to think about earning extra money and gaining experience during your time in the UK.
