CEU offers confidential student psychological counseling services, providing professional help and support for your personal and academic concerns.
Our professional counselors provide
8 sessions of individual counseling per academic year
to help you handle specific issues, emergency, crisis or stress management topics. Please note that counseling is not a substitute for psychotherapy
Issues students typically bring up include (but are not limited to): lack of motivation or direction, stress, relationship issues, concentration difficulties, low confidence or negative self-esteem, homesickness or loneliness, anxiety, eating or body image issues, grief or bereavement, bullying, panic attacks, perfectionism, obsessions/compulsions, depression or mood difficulties, self-harm, addiction or substance use, traumatic experiences, concerns that may result from racial, cultural, personal, sexual or gender identity issues, and current traumatic experiences.
How to Schedule an Appointment
First Contact:
If you need an appointment, please schedule it by sending an email to
studentcounselling@ceu.edu
. There is no walk-in service. An assigned counselor will get in touch with you within 24 hours (except weekends).
Please be sure to report any appointment changes at least 24 hours prior to your session so that other students can use your time. Thank you for understanding!
For any other request, you may use the direct e-mail address of the counselor you wish to contact.
Opening Hours
Please note there is no out-of-office hours, weekend or festive period counseling.
