From first checkups to sports injuries and teen growth milestones, Phoenix Children’s Pediatrics is here for every stage of your child’s health journey. Our care teams provide everything from preventive screenings and vaccines to treatment for colds, asthma and other common illnesses.
We love watching your children grow and we’re honored to be a part of that journey. As your neighborhood pediatric provider, we offer accessible, compassionate and complete care from infancy through adolescence.
Always Here, Even After Hours
We understand that your child’s health needs don’t follow a 9-to-5 schedule. When they are sick, you shouldn’t have to guess what to do next. That’s why our pediatric offices have on-call healthcare providers available seven days a week. When you have concerns after hours, we’re here to help you decide on the best steps forward.
Valley Pediatric Triage (VPT)
, which is operated by Phoenix Children’s, supports families with after-hours calls.
Weekday evenings and weekends:
Calls made after 5 p.m. on weekdays or anytime on the weekend are directed to our answering service.
Information collection:
A staff member will collect your information and make sure your child’s needs are clearly communicated to the triage nurse.
Nurse call-back:
A VPT nurse will then call you back to review and assess your child’s symptoms and provide medical advice on next steps.
This after-hours answering service is available for free to all Phoenix Children’s Pediatrics patients.
