Two Sayre School alumni have produced a new film that premieres this month in Lexington.
The production company of Story Tepper '19 produced the romantic comedy “
Where the Heart Lands
,”
which was filmed in Kentucky. His parents, Lucy Wood Tepper '87 and Danny Tepper, served as executive producers for the project. A red-carpet event will be held at
The Kentucky Theatre
on Friday, April 10.
The film’s plot follows a horse trainer in Lexington whose life is impacted when a lawyer from Los Angeles inherits the racing stable she manages. Locals attempt to prevent the sale of the horses to maintain their standing at Keeneland, a preeminent Thoroughbred racing facility in Lexington, Kentucky.
Story is a creator, producer, wildlife photographer, and marketer. He studied communication and media studies at the University of Kentucky. A fun fact: he played a small role in “She Dances” starring alumna Audrey Zahn. His character tries to pick up Audrey's character at a bar.
