Support Alleyn’s
For over 400 years, Alleyn’s has provided outstanding education to young people across south London, rooted in Edward Alleyn's philanthropic culture of giving back.
Actor and entrepreneur turned philanthropist, Alleyn’s aim was to educate ‘12 poor scholars’ as well as providing alms houses for ‘six poor brethren and six poor sisters’.
Today, Alleyn’s remains true to that vision, with a thriving culture of giving that embraces
innovative educational partnerships
,
meaningful community initiatives
and transformational, means-tested bursaries designed to support talented children whose families are not able to meet the school fees.
Support Us
We provide substantial help with fees to one in 10 of our Senior School pupils. However, each year, applications for financial assistance increase, and we continually strive to grow the number of children to whom we can offer the life-changing opportunity of an Alleyn's education.

Our supporters help in many ways; through generous gifts and Cornflower legacies or volunteering their time and expertise. All gifts, whether financial, time or talent, are gratefully received and are directed with purpose to achieve maximum impact at School or in wider community initiatives.
Enhancing and sharing facilities
This kindness enables the School’s continued development; enhancing facilities across the fields of science and technology, art and design, sport and music; to the creation of new places such as The Alleyn’s Well. We often share these facilities with primary schools and other local groups, too.

Put simply, community generosity is vital to our success, helping us to inspire pupils at Alleyn’s and beyond to be all they can be. We warmly welcome your support in helping us to shape the next 400 years of excellence.
