Federal Poly Ayede Permanent Site: Governing Council Chairman Expresses Excitement
The Federal Polytechnic Ayede Ogbomoso has continued to showcase its developmental strides, which are being admired by many.
Recently, the new Governing Council chairman of the institution Hon Yakubu Dati was around for a familiarization visit during which an on-the-spot assessment of the permanent site at Ayede in Ogo-Oluwa local government area was undertaken. The Polytechnic took off at a temporary site – Iresapa – in 2021, in Surulere local government.

Dr. Taofeek Adekunle Abdul-Hameed, the pioneer Rector, recently spoke with journalists about the progress made since its inception. Barring any unforseen circumstances the Federal Polytechnic, Ayede, Ogbomoso, Oyo state, will move to its permanent site at Ayede community in Ogo-Oluwa local government area very soon.
This is according to Professor Dakas C. J. Dakas (SAN), Chairman of the Governing Council of the institution.
Prof Dakas made the cheering revelation during a visit to the site Monday (June 5), which was corroborated by the Rector, Engr. Dr Taofeek Adekunle Abdul-Hameed.

He made the charge at the World Environment Day organised by the institution’s School of Agricultural Technology at Iresa-Pupa temporary site of the polytechnic.

The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Dr.Taofeek Abdul-Hameed, has promised the staff of the institution more support and welfare while also congratulating them and the entire Nigerian workforce on the occasion of this year's Workers' Day celebration.
In a statement signed by the institution's Protocols and Public Relations Officer, Sunday Adepoju, Dr.Abdul Hameed, who applauded the effort of the staff in the progress of the institution, expressed the determination of the management to ensure that the staff enjoy good welfare packages, including training and conferences, both locally and internationally.

National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted Federal Polytechnic Ayede approval to commence eight more National Diploma (ND) programmes.
