Anna Maria College has launched three new Master of Business Administration concentrations in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, and Cybersecurity. The new concentrations are available now, with applications currently being accepted.
Designed for working professionals in Massachusetts and beyond, the program addresses a widening gap between employer demand for advanced business and technology skills and the supply of qualified professionals in these fields.
Concentrations Embedded in an Accelerated One-Year MBA
The three new concentrations are embedded within Anna Maria’s existing 12-course, 36-credit-hour MBA program, meaning students deepen their expertise in a high-demand field without extending their time to degree completion. The program can be completed in as little as one year, twice as fast as traditional MBA programs, through an accelerated 8-week course format.
Flexibility is central to the program’s design. Students can take classes on campus in Paxton, in a hybrid format, or entirely online through a 100% asynchronous option. All three concentrations are available across every learning format, so professionals can pursue a graduate degree in artificial intelligence, business analytics, or cybersecurity without interrupting their careers or relocating.
A business background is not a prerequisite. Anna Maria’s interdisciplinary MBA curriculum is structured to build both foundational and advanced business competencies, making the program accessible to professionals from a wide range of academic and career backgrounds.
The concentrations were developed in partnership with Rize Education and build on Anna Maria’s core MBA curriculum, which integrates coursework in organizational behavior, managerial accounting, leadership and business ethics, and strategic decision-making.
Preparing Professionals to Lead in High-Growth Fields
“Introducing these concentrations is Anna Maria’s intentional response to the evolving needs of today’s workforce,” said Dr. Chioma Ugochukwu, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs. “By integrating high-demand fields such as artificial intelligence, business analytics, and cybersecurity into our MBA curriculum, we are equipping our graduates with future-ready skills as we prepare them to lead with both technical competence and ethical responsibility.”
Organizations across industries are actively seeking professionals who combine technical fluency with sound business judgment and leadership capability. Anna Maria’s MBA program has long been designed to develop that combination — and the new concentrations sharpen that preparation toward three of the most in-demand sectors in the modern economy.
“We feel our students will have a real edge, bringing stronger backgrounds in AI, business analytics, or cybersecurity than someone with a traditional business degree,” said Dr. Elzbieta Manos, Chair of the School of Business.

The Mid-Career Track allows qualified professionals to waive up to two courses based on relevant work experience, further accelerating the path to degree completion.
