It is my pleasure to welcome you to Denver Academy. I am so proud to lead such a wonderful school and to witness first-hand the transformative power of our educational program. Denver Academy is a co-educational, independent day school serving a bright, diverse group of learners in grades 2 through 12. We enjoy a national reputation for being innovative leaders in the field of education. The foundation of our program is built on individuals—our amazing faculty and staff—who are caring, committed, and professional. By recognizing, understanding, and honoring the individuality of each of our students, we are able to differentiate instruction and create an environment that allows each student to learn and realize their potential. Our teachers use a variety of formal and informal assessments—starting at the admissions stage and continuing through a student’s years at DA—to guide their instruction and meet each student’s needs. This is done in an environment that demands high accountability, yet provides high levels of support to ensure student success. For more than 50 years, the DA model has helped transform lives and empower young people. Whether you are a first-time visitor, a current parent, an alumnus or just looking to learn more about DA, I hope you find our website to be a useful tool. After you have viewed our site, I invite you to contact our Enrollment Department for more information and to schedule a tour or attend an Open House . Once you see us in action and visit our beautiful 21-acre campus, I'm sure you will understand what makes Denver Academy such an amazing place!
