Webster, St. Louis Community College Expand Transfer Options
Webster University and St. Louis Community College (STLCC) are adding eight academic
paths that make it easier for STLCC students to pursue bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
This is part of an ongoing campaign by Webster to meet the needs of the growing population
of college students starting their academic journeys at community colleges.
Webster Animation Program Ranks Among the Best
Webster University’s Animation Program in the School of Communications was named as
one of the top 5 in Missouri by Animation Career Review, a website for people aspiring
for careers in animation, game development/design/art, graphic design, digital art
and related fields.
Webster SOC Alum Earns a Spot on Forbes’ '30 Under 30' List
Stephen Works, ’20, a graduate from the Webster University School of Communications
Interactive Digital Media program was named to Forbes' prestigious 2026 “30 Under
30” list. Works, 29, founded the online company SpringSims and uses the company’s
platform to promote various charities to its nearly two million viewers and 140,000
followers.
Webster Forensic and Debate Team Wins Another National Title
The Webster University Forensic and Debate Team returned from the Pi Kappa Delta National
Tournament and Convention as national champions.
DJ Kaiser Completes a Fulbright Project in Uruguay
Professor DJ Kaiser, Webster’s assistant vice president for Academic Affairs and director
of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), recently completed a Fulbright
Specialist project in Uruguay.
Campus Leadership Participates in Global Summit
Designated as Global Student Ambassadors, participants were expected to volunteer
for
Webster
-sponsored events on their home campuses, share mental health resources specific to
their community and engage fellow students in education or discussion around one of
the summit's critical global issues.
Six Online Webster Programs Ranked Nationally by 'U.S. News & World Report'
Six online Webster University programs were listed as among the best online programs
in the United States in the 2026 "U.S. News & World Report" Online Programs rankings.
Webster, Jefferson College Launch Nursing and Communication Degree Pathways
Webster University and Jefferson College officials introduced a new program that will
allow Jefferson students to transfer to Webster University and earn bachelor’s degrees
from Webster’s School of Communications and Webster’s Nursing program in the College
