Getting to school - there are many options!
Eastside Catholic is committed to being a good neighbor in our local community. We utilize buses, carpools and public transit to minimize traffic congestion around campus and to be mindful of the environment. All students are strongly encouraged to commute to school via bus or carpool. If you need help with bus schedules or carpools, please contact us to discuss the options available to our students.

Eastside Catholic students come from across the region thanks to the convenient school bus transportation. Students can purchase an annual pass, a monthly pass or single-use tickets, as well as morning-only and afternoon-only passes.
Please note
: Stops and schedules are subject to change. Unless otherwise notified, buses will complete their dedicated bus routes while school is in session. The Activity Bus route may not run on certain school days or may run on a varied schedule.

2025-26 Bus Pass Costs, Routes and Schedules
Bus passes can be purchased at any time during the school year. If a student's schedule changes, please contact
buses@eastsidecatholic.org
to request a change. With notification to buses@eastsidecatholic.org, students can ride a different bus in the morning or afternoon as needed. Occasionally, schedules may be altered to accommodate an alternative daily schedule. These changes and schedules will be communicated in our EC This Month or EC This Week emails.

*Express Stop Round Trip: Board at the last stop (mornings) and get off at the first stop (afternoons).

Student Bus Passes: Zonar Z-Pass
Students are required to swipe their pass (
Zonar Z-Pass
) to get on and off the bus.
All bus riders are required to use a Z-Pass bus card every day.
In the mornings, students scan their Z-Pass when they board the bus at their bus stop
AND
as they exit the bus when they arrive on campus.
In the afternoon, students scan their Z-Pass when they board the bus at school
AND
when they exit the bus at their designated bus stop.
Students are responsible for their Z-Pass and should keep it in a secure location.
Parent Notification System
The Zonar Z-Pass provides real-time GPS tracking of the buses and parents and guardians will have the convenience of tracking their students' bus usage using the
Zonar MyView app

Please note: Harlow's will no longer use the RainedOut notification system for bus cancelations and delays.
Students who lose or damage their Z-pass card must obtain a replacement card to continue riding the bus. The first replacement card costs $5, a second replacement card will cost $15, and any subsequent replacement cards will cost $25.

After-School Activity Bus
Depending on the level of interest, we will run an activity bus route after school to Issaquah, Bellevue, Renton and Auburn. The Activity Bus will depart at 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday; the Activity Bus does not run on Fridays.
The cost of the Activity Bus is included with a regular bus pass, but students must have a bus pass to use the Activity Bus.
Many families at Eastside Catholic choose to carpool. Families who are interested in carpooling indicate their preference in the Online School Packet.
EC offers parking spots for juniors and seniors with limited parking for sophomores. All parking spots require a parking permit.

Student Parking Permit
You can pick up your parking permit during the first week of school in the Attendance Office. EC parking is limited to the official parking spaces in the school parking lot. Parking is not allowed in the surrounding neighborhoods at any time.
Metro Buses
Students can utilize public bus transportation provided by Metro King County. Bus routes #215 and #269 stop near EC.

ORCA Youth cards
offer a reduced fare on certain transit systems in the Puget Sound region and are available to youth ages 6-18.

. King County Metro offers an on-demand community ride service in the Sammamish area for the same cost as a Metro bus ride.
These Parking and Traffic Flow Guidelines are to ensure safety and efficiency as you drive to campus, load and unload from cars and walk through our parking lots.
Key Reminders
Use Both Lanes When Entering Campus:
Please use both lanes and alternate merging as directed by signage and lane markings.
No Left Turns During Peak Hours:
To maintain traffic flow, left turns into parking lots are not allowed between 7:30 - 9 a.m. and 2:30 - 3:30 p.m.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures:
Drivers must remain in their vehicles for safety reasons. Students should enter and exit vehicles only from the curbside.
Restricted Access Beyond the Bridge:
Only vehicles with pre-reserved parking spaces may proceed past the bridge. Please only park in the space specifically reserved for you.

Student Parking:
Students must park only in the assigned parking lot based on their parking permit.

E-Bike and E-Scooters:
Riders must follow all traffic laws and wear helmets at all times for their safety.
