by equipping its citizens with essential digital competencies, addressing educational disparities,
and fostering sustainable socio-economic development in alignment with the province’s Digital Strategy

Information Technology
Board
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) is an autonomous public sector organization
established under an Act of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly in May 2011. The Board is mandated to
promote Information Technology (IT), IT-enabled Services (ITeS), and IT-enabled Education across
both the public and private sectors of the province, fostering innovation, efficiency, and digital
growth in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board is striving to adopt the
best
practices
that have led
many countries successfully transition towards a digital transformation to achieve the desired
objectives and are actively working on four main pillars of the digital policy are, Digital Economy,
Digital Access, Digital Skills, and Digital Governance. Under each pillar, multiple projects of
different magnitudes and scales are being implemented & executed across the province.
