Course Requirements
Demonstrate ability in solving complex problems and making decisions informed by insights from multiple disciplines.
Develop and demonstrate advanced critical thinking skills to evaluate information from diverse sources and perspectives, identify biases, and form well-reasoned conclusions in application to solving real-world problems.
Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to diverse audiences, adapting language and approach to convey interdisciplinary insights clearly and persuasively.
Demonstrate an understanding of the distinct epistemologies, methodologies and theoretical frameworks of different academic disciplines, and the value each brings to solving complex problems.
Demonstrate the ability to analyze issues from multiple ethical perspectives and make decisions informed by an awareness of cultural diversity and intercultural competence.

Course Descriptions
The Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies allows a student to pursue their interests and passions by combining at least two majors in the online programs at Albright College.  Students select six courses at 100 or 200 level and 6 courses at 300 or 400 level.  These courses must span at least two disciplines. Students may transfer courses into this major that are consistent with the College’s overall transfer policy, enabling students to combine courses in a field not offered at Albright College.

A minimum high-school grade point average of a 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is required for acceptance.
Students may transfer in a maximum of
90 credits.
