On December 2nd, a delegation from University of Wollongong
(UOW),
Australia visit
ed
Hefei
university.
Wu Pingchuan,
Chair of HFU Council, extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced
HFU
’s profile. He noted that the visit was the first inter-university exchange following Hefei University’s visit to UOW in May, marking
a
new progress in bilateral cooperation. The two universities are highly compatible in
fields of m
aterials
s
cience,
e
ngineering,
c
omputer
s
cience,
f
inance and
a
ccounting, with broad prospects for future collaboration.
During the
meeting
, faculty members from both sides held in-depth discussions on student exchange programs in

usiness disciplines and joint research initiatives for teachers. Students from the two universities also participated in traditional Chinese cultural activities, including Luzhou
