Through this strategic roadmap, we’ve identified three key areas to guide us closer to this commitment. How we improve in those areas will be critical to having a positive impact on our community and connecting us to our vision.

Student Success Generator
From admission through graduation and beyond, every Wingate University student will embark on experiences designed to maximize success. We will meet students where they are and mentor them as they engage in the core curriculum, their major-specific classes, the co-curriculum, and extracurricular activities such as athletics.
Well-Oiled Machine
Wingate’s self-awareness and development programs will help employees at every level become dynamic, engaged leaders who are motivated by service. This will help the University attract and retain the high-performing and diverse workforce that is necessary to keep Wingate relevant, sustainable, and a “best place to work.”

Wingate will align partnerships and programs to help students become difference-makers and create new programs or re-imagine existing ones to meet industry needs and remain relevant to the region. Our regional partnerships will drive growth in the town of Wingate and eastern Union County.
